Wordless Wednesday~~For Christmas this year I decided to do homemade gifts. A friend's mom graciously showed a group of us girls how to make necklaces and vases out of glass. It was a blast! I think I may be addicted. For the necklaces, we cut and used a grinder to make the glass in the shape we wanted. Then the pieces were place in a kiln. And voila! Beautiful works of art! For the vases, a large piece of glass was placed over a mold, placed in the kiln and as it melted created it's own form.
